Sofi’s spiritual path began with a Christian upbringing.  Attending Sunday school each week, being confirmed in the Christian faith as a teenager, and delving head first into a fundamental belief system in college.  After years of feeling conflicted about the indoctrination of the church and her own personal beliefs, she discovered unity through the yogic path.

While receiving yoga teacher certification at the Yoga Center of Minneapolis in 2011, she quickly learned that yogic philosophy offered everything she loved about her faith, and excluded everything that was inconsistent with her desire to contribute to others’ wellbeing.  Through a deep practice of self growth and discovery, Sofi is now able to share these lessons with her community.

The healing gifts that Sofi has to offer expand with time.  She has additional training in Yin Yoga, Trauma-Sensitive Yoga, Pranassage, Chi Nei Tsang abdominal massage, Craniosacral Therapy and Thai massage.  To stay inspired and engaged in a continual learning process, Sofi is constantly reading, taking classes, and furthering her education.

Seeing her clients’ bodies and minds transform session to session and learn to move and breathe with greater flexibility and awareness gives her great joy.  Sofi’s practice continues to evolve and incorporate new techniques focused on improving the lives of those around her.
